Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli has called for more clarity on team rules after clashing with teammate George Russell during the Canadian Grand Prix sprint. The incident cost Antonelli second place in Montreal.
The pair started on the front row for the 23-lap sprint at Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Antonelli attempted an outside pass into Turn 1 but was forced onto the grass when Russell held his ground. The battle continued into Turn 8, where Antonelli ran off track again and dropped to third behind Lando Norris.
