Arc System Works apologises for Marvel Tōkon PC issues

Developer Arc System Works has apologised for gameplay and performance problems affecting the PC version of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls during its open beta.

PC players reported issues including high CPU usage from anti-cheat measures, multiple Sony background services, poor input buffering, and repeated PlayStation Network sign-in prompts.

The studio confirmed it is investigating the problems and will provide an update soon. It also shared community-suggested troubleshooting steps while noting they are not officially verified fixes.

The beta is intended to catch such issues ahead of the full release, which remains scheduled for 6 August 2026 on PC and PS5. The game was first revealed last year and features a roster that includes Storm, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Doctor Doom.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is currently unavailable in more than 100 countries due to its PSN linking requirement.
