Audi Mexico proposed a 19.5 percent overall increase to its employees in Puebla, including 4.6 percent to wages and 14.9 percent in benefits.
The company presented the offer that includes a guaranteed profit sharing clause, 25,000 pesos in profits, a Christmas voucher and another voucher package. The more than four thousand workers will vote on the proposal on June 23 and 24 at the San José Chiapa plant.
Sitaudi general secretary César Orta stated that voting will start on Tuesday the 23rd at 07:00 hours and end on Wednesday the 24th at the same time. The union held informational assemblies over the previous weekend.
Audi has been in Puebla for a decade and employees have accumulated a 60 percent global increase, above the 49 percent inflation over the same period. The firm reported drops in production and exports last May, plus two technical stops in 2026.
