The National Water Commission reported that tropical wave number 12 will cause showers and heavy to very heavy rains in southern and southeastern Mexico over the weekend.
CONAGUA detailed that tropical wave number 12 will move across the Mexican South Pacific. This will generate heavy rains in Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Chiapas.
Showers with isolated heavy rains are also expected in Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, Nayarit, Colima, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Morelos, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Tabasco. Tropical wave number 13 will raise rain chances on the Yucatán peninsula.
In addition, a heat wave will affect Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero and Oaxaca, where maximum temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius are forecast.
