Streamer and boxer DeenTheGreat is dealing with fresh charges tied to a May yacht clash in Miami. Court docs allege he grabbed a woman and snatched her phone during a spat. His lawyer is pushing back hard on the case.
DeenTheGreat, whose real name is Nurideen Shabazz, got hit with a second-degree felony robbery charge and a misdemeanor battery count. Prosecutors say the May 27 incident started when he got upset over other guys chatting with Destiny Aleman aboard the yacht.
Security footage from the boat allegedly shows him grabbing her multiple times, leaving a scratch on her arm. Police met the vessel at the dock and the charges followed his arrest in May.
Lawyer Richard L. Cooper told TMZ the case should get tossed soon and they expect it resolved next week. Deen fired back on a live stream and X, telling fans to know the facts while posting #CuhhFree.
The allegations are unproven and no conviction has been reported.
