In this episode, Tita returns to the Las Palomas hacienda with Dr. Brown to attend a party hosted by Rosaura, who introduces her second child. Tita prepares a champandongo in the kitchen, but tension arises upon seeing Pedro with Rosaura and little Esperanza. This leads to arguments, including Dr. Brown's confrontation with Tita over her closeness to her former love. Later, Tita and Pedro consummate their relationship in the kitchen, while their partners await them in other rooms. Dr. Brown pushes forward with wedding plans, though Tita feels guilty and questions the engagement. Pedro watches the conflict from afar, and Rosaura notices his distance, raising suspicions.
