Fallon Henley discussed her path to WWE during a recent appearance on a podcast with Cody Rhodes. The wrestler shared details of her three tryouts and praised her time training under Shawn Michaels in NXT.
Henley described her three WWE tryouts in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The second tryout occurred during COVID with a small group of about 10 to 12 women.
She recalled doing extra work for NXT and having an enhancement match with Elektra Lopez in the first taping after extras returned. Henley then attended a week of live practice shows at the WWE Performance Center.
After receiving news of a potential fourth tryout, she was offered an NXT contract two weeks later. Henley also credited Shawn Michaels, WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Development, Creative, for thorough rehearsals that explained the reasoning behind match elements.
Cody Rhodes noted Paul "Triple H" Levesque's role in deciding main events based on story quality.
