Elektra Lopez opens up about WWE main roster replacement

Elektra Lopez has discussed learning she was replaced by Zelina Vega in Legado Del Fantasma one day before the group's planned move to WWE SmackDown.

Lopez, who was part of the faction in WWE NXT alongside Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro, said she received a call from Shawn Michaels while preparing to travel.

"I'm getting ready, literally about to leave my house to go to the airport," she recalled in an interview. "It turns out he felt very uncomfortable delivering the news to me, too."

She described feeling shocked after the call, noting that her expected career advancement was suddenly halted. Michaels informed her that only the male members would be called up, with Zelina Vega potentially taking her place.

Lopez continued in NXT, where she said the extra time helped develop her character. She was later called up to the main roster before her release last year.
