Färjestad increases training load for upcoming season

Färjestad BK has adjusted its preseason training program following another early playoff exit. The club is emphasizing higher volumes of lactic acid training while keeping core principles intact.

After losing a 3-0 series lead to Rögle in the quarterfinals last spring, Färjestad has increased the intensity of its summer preparations. Physical coach Richard Kalenius told NWT that the basic structure remains the same but Fridays now feature a full session focused on lactic acid work.
