Fernando Tatis Jr. ended a 207 at-bat drought with a 451-foot home run on Saturday afternoon as the San Diego Padres fell to the Washington Nationals 9-4 at Nationals Park.
The Padres led 3-1 entering the seventh inning behind strong pitching from Michael King. The Nationals then erupted for six runs, capped by Luis García Jr.'s two-run single and a force-out RBI from Daylen Lile, to take a 7-3 lead. San Diego starter Michael King was pulled after hitting Dylan Crews to load the bases, and reliever Bradgley Rodriguez allowed the rally to continue.
