Police responded on Wednesday evening to a brawl between two families in Limhamn, Malmö. Five people were taken to hospital, two with serious injuries.
The alarm came at 19.18 about a disturbance in a residential area. About ten people from two families were involved and used objects as weapons.
Police arrested a man in his twenties suspected of attempted murder and a woman in her forties. The motive for the brawl remains unclear.
The injured were taken to Malmö University Hospital. A woman in her mid-forties and a teenage boy had serious injuries. Police have patrols at the hospital to prevent the conflict from continuing there.
