A man in his 50s was stabbed in a residence in Haninge south of Stockholm and airlifted to hospital. Police have arrested a suspect in his 30s who has family ties to the victim. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
Police and emergency services were alerted just before 8:30 p.m. to the residence in Haninge. According to police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl, the two men have a family relation.
– There were also a number of other people in the residence who also have family relations, Wikdahl said.
A technical examination and interviews will now begin. The condition of the injured man remains unknown.
