Water pooling continues to flood the Sedyatmo toll road toward Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, due to overflow from Kali Perancis. Traffic is congested at the Rawa Bokor off ramp KM 31+000, though officials are addressing the flooding. The impact extends to the Dalam Kota toll road, with water depths of 10-15 centimeters.
Heavy rain since Monday, January 12, 2026, has triggered flooding that continues to disrupt access to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Water pooling is observed on the Sedyatmo toll road toward the airport, particularly at the Rawa Bokor off ramp KM 31+000, as well as on the Dalam Kota toll road from Cengkareng Toll Gate to the Rawa Bokor ramp at Km 31.400 A. Water depths reach 10-15 centimeters, causing drivers to proceed slowly and congesting traffic in both directions.
The primary cause is the overflow from Kali Perancis, the sole drainage channel in the area. Senior Manager of Representative Office 2 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, Ginanjar Bekti, stated, "The only drainage flow for the current pooling is toward Kali Perancis, but since Kali Perancis is also overflowing, the pooling is somewhat difficult to drain."
PT Jasa Marga has responded by deploying eight water pump units, coordinating traffic management with police, and liaising with the Ciliwung-Cisadane River Basin Authority. Meanwhile, Head of the Highway Patrol Unit of the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate, Commissioner Police Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie, reported that pooling persisted until 7:15 PM WIB, with traffic controls from Cengkareng Toll Gate to the Rawa Bokor ramp. Queues at Cengkareng Toll Gate remain normal due to officer oversight.
Flooding at Pluit 3 Toll Gate has receded, restoring normal traffic there. More broadly, the Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency recorded flooding affecting 22 neighborhoods and four roads in West and North Jakarta as of Tuesday morning. Jasa Marga advises road users to take alternative routes like the JORR 2 toll road and monitor updates via the 14080 call center or TRAVOY app.
