A 42-year-old Florida woman faces aggravated assault charges after allegedly brandishing a firearm during a parking argument outside a Target store in Miami. Kiara S. Johnson was arrested following a confrontation where she reportedly threatened another driver. Police recovered an unregistered gun from her purse.
Officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to a Target store in the 21000 block of Biscayne Boulevard around 1:55 p.m. on a report of a gun-related incident. The victim stated she had parked her car and moved it slightly when Johnson pulled into the adjacent spot to avoid a potential door collision. Johnson confronted her, cursing and using obscenities, according to the probable cause affidavit.
