Fromis_9 members reveal Pledis rules with SEVENTEEN on show

Chaeyoung and Jiwon from Fromis_9 described strict instructions at Pledis Entertainment during an appearance on SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan’s YouTube show Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo.

The idols explained they were told to leave the practice room immediately whenever SEVENTEEN arrived. Chaeyoung stated they were instructed to remove even their shoes before exiting.

Jiwon added that the group “couldn’t even step on their shadows” during their time at the label. Seungkwan confirmed he had never encountered the members despite using the same spaces.

The discussion has drawn online criticism of Pledis Entertainment’s approach to managing its groups.

Netizens have called the reported practices unfair treatment of the junior artists.
