A court has granted an injunction sought by nine members of K-pop group The Boyz to suspend their exclusive contracts with agency One Hundred Label. The members cited failures in settlement payments and financial data provision. The attorney stated that trust between the parties had broken down irreparably due to the agency's fault.
A Seoul court granted the injunction on April 24, 2026, sought by nine of The Boyz's 10 members, excluding New, against One Hundred Label. Kim Moon-hee, an attorney at Yulchon law firm representing the members, said the court found the agency violated obligations to make settlement payments and provide financial data, and failed to fulfill key duties including management support and artist protection.
"The court determined that the trust between the parties of the contracts had broken down to an irreparable level due to the agency's fault," Kim said.
One Hundred Label argued that signing bonuses constituted advance payments on earnings, but the court rejected this, noting contract provisions treat them separately from distributions of activity-generated earnings.
Kim said the members will fulfill previously confirmed schedules despite the suspension.
