The third edition of the HealthTech Forum 2026, held in Bogotá, attracted over 1,500 attendees from Latin America, Spain, the United States, and other countries. Morales said the event exceeded expectations and fostered key connections, establishing Colombia and Bogotá as international references. Success is gauged by advancing rapid technology adoption across public and private health sectors. Morales estimated that full digitalization by 2030 could cut waste by more than 20% over the next four years, optimizing limited resources. She emphasized the public sector's need for greater openness to innovation, akin to the financial sector, noting that public and private efforts currently diverge. Investments in health, innovation, and technology are projected to exceed US$2,000 million in 2026, with dedicated healthtech funds. Edward Ramírez Avella, founder of Partners For Startups, remarked: “Latin America's health system can't take another 'pilot.' The HealthTech Forum 2026 arrives in Bogotá to turn data into real care and save medical staff from burnout.”
