Im Sung-jae of South Korea tied for fifth at the Truist Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. The result marks his second top-10 finish of the 2026 season.
Im Sung-jae closed with a four-round total of 11-under 273 at Quail Hollow Club on Sunday. He held the 36-hole lead after opening rounds of 64 and 69 but posted weekend scores in the 70s and finished four strokes behind champion Kristoffer Reitan of Norway.
The South Korean started his season in March after recovering from a wrist injury. This marked his second top-10 result in eight starts, following a tie for fourth at the Valspar Championship. He missed the cut in his first two events and finished outside the top 40 at the Masters.
Im will next compete at the PGA Championship, which begins Thursday at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. He joins Kim Si-woo and 2009 champion Yang Yong-eun as one of three South Koreans in the field.
