Joaquin Niemann and Talor Gooch finished the third round of LIV Golf Korea at nine-under par to share the lead at Asiad Country Club in Busan. Both players said they will adopt an aggressive approach in Sunday's final round.
Niemann carded a four-under 66 and Gooch a one-under 69 at the par-70 course. Niemann said he would "try to go for every fairway, every green and then try to make every putt." Gooch offered nearly identical comments moments later.
Scott Vincent sits alone in third at eight-under. Defending champion Bryson DeChambeau is tied for sixth at six-under. South Koreans Mun Do-yeob and Song Young-han are tied for 14th at three-under and will target a top-10 finish.
In the team competition, Crushers Golf Clubs leads at 16-under, one stroke ahead of Gooch's OKGC. The individual winner will receive US$4 million and the winning team US$3 million.
