Crypto Expo Europe will bring together executives from major cryptocurrency exchanges in Bucharest on March 1–2, 2026, amid a market correction following growth in recent years. The event focuses on strategies for volatility, regulation, and innovation in digital assets. Participants include Binance, Bitget, and Kraken, addressing key topics like tokenization and compliance.
The Crypto Expo Europe conference is set for March 1–2, 2026, in Bucharest, Romania, gathering leaders from global cryptocurrency exchanges and industry players. This comes as the crypto market faces a correction phase after expansion in 2024 and 2025, with renewed volatility prompting reassessments of liquidity, compliance, and positioning among exchanges, institutions, and providers.
Confirmed participants include Binance, Bitget, KuCoin, Bybit EU, Gemini, BingX, eToro, Kraken, Ava Labs, BitPay, Tokero, Mosaic Galaxy, The Sandbox, and CFA Society Romania. The agenda covers custody resilience, the evolution of AML and KYC processes, real-world asset tokenization, institutional integration of digital assets, and the role of exchanges and launchpads in 2026. Discussions will also examine how Europe's regulatory clarity, particularly in the MiCA era, affects operational models and cross-border strategies.
A highlighted session, “Tokenizing Assets: The Future of Finance and Investment?,” will feature representatives from BitPay, Ava Labs, Kraken, and CFA Society Romania, exploring the shift from pilot projects to full implementation in blockchain-based asset infrastructure.
Another panel, “Crypto Exchanges and Launchpads in 2026,” involves leaders from Binance, Bybit EU, Gemini, and Tokero, focusing on liquidity, compliance, and product strategies in uncertain conditions.
The event closes with a keynote, “What’s Next for the Industry and Where the Major Opportunities Will Come From,” including executives from Binance, Bitget, BingX, Bybit EU, and KuCoin, who will share views on the current environment and prospects for 2026 and 2027.
Ruxandra Tataru, CEO of Crypto Expo Europe, stated, “Periods of volatility are when the most important strategic decisions are made.” She added, “Crypto Expo Europe is designed to bring together the executives and builders who are actively shaping the next phase of the industry, not just reacting to market cycles.”
As Eastern Europe’s largest crypto and blockchain conference, the event draws over 3,000 delegates from more than 60 countries, serving as a hub for networking, workshops, and panels on Web3 innovation and regulation.
