Infotrak survey ranks Babu Owino and Kamau Murango top performers

A new national survey by Infotrak has placed Embakasi East MP Babu Owino ahead of other MPs while Kirinyaga Senator Kamau Murango leads among senators.

Respondents cited good use of NG-CDF funds, presence on the ground and participation in parliamentary debates as the main reasons for high scores. Babu Owino scored 80 percent support while Joseph Kalasinga followed at 78 percent.

Kamau Murango led senators at 69 percent while Jane Njeri Maina was the top woman nationally at 67 percent. Many of the highest-rated leaders have declared interest in the 2027 governorship race.

The survey was conducted as several politicians prepare for the August 10, 2027 general election.
