Kendal Grey defeated Nattie to retain the NXT Women's Championship in the main event of WWE NXT on July 7. Layla Diggs also earned a title shot at the Women's North American Championship.
Grey pinned Nattie with Shades of Grey after countering multiple submission attempts including the Sharpshooter. Nattie had started aggressively and gained near falls but could not secure the win.
Layla Diggs upset Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain and Thea Hail in a fatal four-way to become the number one contender. Diggs hit a moonsault on Hail for the pinfall.
Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux won a four-team match to earn a future shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles held by Vanity Project. A distraction by Saquon Shugars played a key role in their victory.
