Kenzo presented its spring 2027 menswear collection on June 24 at Place des Victoires in Paris. The event honored founder Kenzo Takada through design references to the brand's history and the historic square.
The presentation took place in a building wrapped in flowers, many of them pink. New CEO Charlotte Coupé highlighted the area's past as a hub for ribbon shops, noting that Takada sourced ribbons from the Julien Faure shop for earlier collections.
Designs featured grosgrain preppy stripes as bows, trims, and bands on coats and cardigans. A new green-tree camouflage motif appeared in sakura pink on jackets, shorts, and sweatshirts. Archival florals were adapted into ribbon mini dresses and ruffled skirts.
The collection included reworked crests from Nigo's earlier work, a continued collaboration with Converse, and a new partnership with Paraboot. Nigo aimed to connect the brand's past and present for future collections.
