Leaks surface for Pokémon Winds and Waves

Rumors about the upcoming Pokémon games continue to spread among fans. The titles remain a year from release.

New details have emerged from alleged early builds and past leaks about Pokémon Winds and Waves.

One claim points to more than 300 new Pokémon and regional forms added to the Pokédex. This would surpass previous generations in scale.

A weather-based battle system is also rumored, featuring transformations similar to Mega Evolutions or Gigantamax forms. Leaked footage shows a distorted Pikachu model that may relate to the mechanic.

The starter Pokémon are said to reach final typings of Grass/Ground for Browt, Fire/Fairy for Pombom, and Water/Psychic for Gecqua. Other monsters including Shellos and Psyduck may receive new variants.

Players are expected to traverse the open world using a Rotom scooter capable of hovering or tethering to Pokémon. Some level of voice acting has reportedly been recorded for the games.
