The Toronto Marlies return home to face the Chicago Wolves in Game 3 of the Calder Cup Finals tonight at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
The Marlies hold a 2-0 series lead after road victories in Games 1 and 2. They erased multiple Chicago leads in each contest, with captain Logan Shaw scoring the overtime winner in Game 2.
Toronto enters the matchup after winning six straight on the road this postseason. The team finished fourth in the North Division during the regular season yet has shown resilience against top competition.
Head coach John Gruden emphasized the group's approach. "We’re just going to go out and be the best version of us," he said. "We just have to again lean on one another to help us out through these times."
A standing-room-only crowd is expected at the arena, which sits next to BMO Field where FIFA World Cup 2026 matches are scheduled later in the week.
