Meta introduced a new lineup of display-free smart glasses on Monday in New York, featuring three styles branded solely under Meta and including a collaboration with Kylie Jenner.
The company unveiled the Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury and Meta Glasses by Kylie models at an event in New York City. The glasses start at $299 for the first two styles and $399 for the Jenner edition, which includes a sparkly gem on one lens and an option for Jenner's voice in the AI system.
All models use the same hardware platform as prior Ray-Ban Meta glasses, including 3K video cameras and multi-array microphones, while adding more style and color options along with improved adjustable nose pads. Software updates include support for 14 additional languages in live translation and a pedestrian navigation feature.
Meta executives highlighted expanded prescription lens compatibility during the launch. The event also previewed features such as dynamic photos that select the best image from a burst.
The glasses remain available through existing retail channels via EssilorLuxottica, with no changes announced to AI privacy policies or camera design.
