Michael Rider presented his first independent Celine menswear collection for spring 2027, featuring a wide range of individual looks unified by a collective creative approach.
The show displayed diverse garments including skinniest-cut pants alongside free-flowing drawstring waisted balloons, neat tailored overcoats mixed with voluminous cape-like trenches, and blazers paired with cap-sleeve T-shirts. Sweater varieties ranged from tiny Shetlands to schoolboy Fair Isle tanks and oversize tunics.
Models appeared in personal styles with accessories such as half-cocked hats, fringed headbands, and gemstones on foreheads. Rider explained the vision, saying the team builds looks that reflect the house values and characters they want to embody.
Rider noted inspiration from youthful self-expression seen on Paris streets, aiming to move away from uniform show formats toward more authentic variety. Classic luxury elements like cropped peacoats, buttery leathers, and bags remained prominent alongside color references from earlier Celine eras.
