Peter Copping presented the Lanvin Spring 2027 Menswear collection in the brand’s new offices. The designs draw on feminine elements from the house archive and the style of 20th-century Parisian figures.
The collection features Art Deco-inspired strass embroideries on shirts and slender silk scarves. Jackets appear in dusty rose and powdery blue tones, while sport and workwear items include a cotton and nylon windbreaker finished with leather and a knit fisherman sweater.
Copping noted the changing norms in men’s fashion. “Ten years ago, I probably would not have felt so comfortable doing this,” he said, adding that men are embracing a more feminine side and that codes are being broken down.
A capsule of jumpers was created in collaboration with heritage knitwear brand John Smedley, which dates to 1784 and holds a royal warrant. The pieces use lively bicolour stripe combinations.
