Nike will release a new Air Max 90 colorway called Tough Red later this year. The sneaker features updated color blocking with grey tones and red accents.
The shoe uses Grey Fog on the mesh base, Smoke Grey suede on the quarter panels, and black leather on the mudguard. Tough Red appears on the heel badge, midsole wedge, and mudguard window, while the Swoosh also receives the red shade.
Nike plans to launch the Air Max 90 Tough Red in Fall 2026. The retail price is set at $135, with availability through Nike.com and major sneaker retailers.
This version draws from the original Infrared Air Max 90 but uses dimmer tones for a moodier look. Colored Swooshes provide the main design change from standard models.
