The National Domino Sports Organization (PB ORADO) has appointed Henry Kurnia Adhi, known as Jhon LBF, as head of public relations. The appointment, announced on Saturday (January 24, 2026), is a strategic move to strengthen public communication and expand awareness of domino as an inclusive and cultural intellectual sport.

PB ORADO General Chairman Yooky Tjahrial explained that Jhon LBF was selected for his strong capacity in building relevant public communication across societal layers. His experience and networks are seen as key to elevating ORADO's national recognition. “The public relations role is crucial in building public trust and introducing domino as a prestigious sport and part of culture. We are optimistic Jhon LBF can fulfill this role maximally,” Yooky stated in an official release.

In his position, Jhon LBF will coordinate organizational communication strategies, activity publications, and partnerships with stakeholders at national and regional levels. Looking ahead, ORADO plans major events including Provincial and National Championships across 38 Indonesian provinces to scout talented athletes and unite the domino community in a professional competition system.

Jhon LBF expressed his commitment to advancing domino sports. “Domino is more than a game; it's a means to build sportsmanship, strategy, and togetherness. Through tournaments in 38 provinces, ORADO aims to provide equitable and proud achievement opportunities,” he said.

Previously, on Wednesday (January 7, 2026), ORADO held the National Declaration and the First National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of 2026 at Hotel Mulia in Jakarta. The event reaffirmed the commitment to evolve domino from a folk game into a dignified, sporting, and prestigious national sport. Youth and Sports Minister (Menpora) Erick Thohir has encouraged domino's development as part of the sports industry driving the national economy. ORADO will serve as the official body for athlete development, tiered competitions, and upholding game rules and ethics.
