The Attorney General's Office rejected on Monday the second plea deal proposal submitted by Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master.
The decision was communicated to STF minister André Mendonça, the case rapporteur. The PGR argued that the proposal brought no new elements and relied on unproven accounts, such as mentions of information heard from third parties.
The Federal Police had already rejected the same proposal last Thursday. Vorcaro has been in preventive detention since March and is currently held at the PF Superintendency in the Federal District.
The PGR also spoke against a home detention request filed by the defense, stating that the STF's March decision remains valid. The former banker may submit a new collaboration proposal in the future.
