Polda metro propam reminds members of ban on hedonistic lifestyles

Polda Metro Jaya's Propam division held a technical working meeting and socialization on whistleblowing systems and the ban on luxurious lifestyles. The event was attended by around 250 members in Jakarta on November 25, 2025. Kombes Radjo Alriadi Harahap emphasized the importance of integrity and simplicity.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the Professional and Security Division (Bidpropam) of Polda Metro Jaya conducted a Technical Working Meeting (Rakernis) at the Metro Jaya Meeting Hall (BPMJ). The event was led by the Head of Propam, Commissioner General of Police Radjo Alriadi Harahap, and attended by approximately 250 participants from supervision and development units within Polda Metro Jaya.

In his remarks, Kombes Radjo stated that this rakernis is a crucial moment to strengthen ethics and internal oversight in the Polri. “This rakernis is not just a routine activity, but a forum for consolidation so that all members re-understand the importance of integrity, professional ethics, and moral responsibility in every task execution,” he said, quoted on November 26, 2025.

Participants received presentations on the mechanisms of the Whistle Blowing System (WBS) and SP4N Lapor as official reporting channels for suspected disciplinary and ethical violations. Both systems ensure the confidentiality of reporters to support transparency in Polri services.

Bidpropam also reiterated the ban on luxurious lifestyles as per Perpol Number 7 of 2022. Members were reminded to maintain simplicity and avoid displaying luxury in public spaces or on social media. “Every Polri member must uphold the institution's dignity by behaving modestly. Do not display luxury, either in the real world or on social media,” Kombes Radjo emphasized.

The event proceeded orderly and is expected to enhance professionalism and public trust in a precise, integrity-driven, and humane Polri.
