Prime Video has announced an untitled documentary on Lily Allen set for release in 2027. The film will cover her career from early MySpace days to her recent album West End Girl.
Directed by Mat Whitecross, the project draws on interviews with those who know Allen best. It is described as an intimate portrait of resilience and reinvention.
The documentary is planned for streaming on Prime Video along with a global theatrical release window. Whitecross previously directed films on Oasis and Coldplay.
Prime Video calls the film a story of an artist reclaiming her narrative. An exact release date has not been set.
