Prime Video sets August 20 premiere for Novak Djokovic documentary

Prime Video announced that the documentary Novak Djokovic: The Wolf In Winter will premiere on August 20. Directed by Jason Hehir, the film explores the career and personal life of the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

The project comes from Words + Pictures and Sadoux Productions. Hehir, who directed the Emmy-winning series The Last Dance, gained all-access to Djokovic's training, tournaments, and family moments.

Djokovic said in a statement that the film covers unseen doubts, sacrifices, and personal evolution. He noted that Amazon and Hehir understood the story extends beyond tennis to the people and values behind it.

Agassi, Nadal, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker, and Jim Courier appear in the film. Hehir described Djokovic as a polarizing figure at a crossroads in the twilight of his career.

The announcement arrives during a busy period for tennis documentaries, including recent releases on Rafael Nadal and Billie Jean King.
