Prosperity party rolls out policies for fundamental change

Amhara region head Ato Arega Kebede said the Prosperity Party is implementing policies to bring fundamental change and transform the country. He made the remarks during a discussion in Bahir Dar city.

Ato Arega Kebede stated that the government is using all available peace options repeatedly to achieve sustainable peace. He emphasized that the government door remains open to any party that follows peaceful and legal means.

Religious fathers, country elders and mothers should advise forces that have gone into the forest, he said. Efforts are underway to address service delivery problems by applying modern systems.

The regional head noted that Bahir Dar is a major tourism destination and said the sector needs more standard hotels to modernize further. Investors should engage widely and the public must support ongoing development works to ensure they continue strengthened.

Discussion participants praised the development works being carried out in the city and the job opportunities being created for youth. They confirmed they will work alongside the government to beautify the city and ensure peace.
