Puebla state prosecutors arrested Rafael ‘N’ on Tuesday as the suspected shooter targeting vehicles on Vía Atlixcáyotl.
The arrest occurred after an armed confrontation in the Santa Fe neighborhood, where the suspect fired at agents executing an arrest and search warrant.
Mexican Army personnel secured the perimeter during the operation. No injuries were reported.
Rafael ‘N’ faces complaints of property damage and physical injuries linked to at least 12 documented attacks on the road. State and federal prosecutors have not yet issued an official statement on the charges.
