In the prosecutor's indictment, the polemic began with a photocopy upload of Jokowi's diploma by Dian Sandi Utama on social media X on April 1, 2025. Prosecutors accused Dokter Tifa of spreading analysis without verification or permission from the document owner.
Police criminalistics laboratory results stated Jokowi's diploma is identical to 14 diplomas of Universitas Gadjah Mada alumni. Roy Suryo and Dokter Tifa are now defendants on charges of defamation.
