The fifth national congress of PPK Kosgoro 1957 selected Sari Yuliati as chair for the 2026–2031 term by acclamation in the early hours of Saturday.
The congress session took place in Jakarta and concluded at 04.00 WIB on 6 June 2026. Chair of the session Lamhot Sinaga struck the gavel to formalise the decision and then handed over the Kosgoro 1957 flag to Sari Yuliati. Sari Yuliati expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her. She affirmed her commitment to strengthening unity and delivering concrete contributions to the nation. Golkar Party Chair Bahlil Lahadalia had opened the congress on Friday evening and named two candidates, Sari Yuliati and La Ode Saiful Akbar, while urging them to advance the organisation.
