Jimmie Åkesson of SD and Simona Mohamsson of L propose that the state take over responsibility for personal assistance. They also want to raise compensation by seven percent.
In a joint statement on Saturday the party leaders presented five election promises on Expressen’s debate page. They want to strengthen the law on support and service by raising assistance compensation by seven percent and then following cost increases each year.
The two party leaders write that personal assistance has been eroded. To secure legal assessments they propose that Försäkringskassan take over responsibility.
The statement comes from the Sweden Democrats and the Liberals.
