Federal prosecutors have released detailed surveillance images from the January 10 armed takeover at a Dallas recording studio involving rapper Pooh Shiesty and associates, including Gucci Mane. The images provide a timeline of the incident where Gucci was allegedly forced at gunpoint to sign a contract release. Pooh Shiesty's lawyer continues to highlight inconsistencies in the prosecution's case.
The newly released surveillance snapshots from the federal indictment offer a precise timeline of the January 10, 2026, incident at the Dallas studio. According to prosecutors, the images show Pooh Shiesty (Lontrell Williams Jr.), his father Lontrell Williams Sr., rapper Big30 (Rodney Wright Jr.), and seven others entering the building around 3:43 p.m. One individual reportedly left briefly and returned with a duffel bag believed to contain an AK-47.
This builds on the events covered in prior reporting, where Pooh Shiesty and associates were arrested following federal charges filed April 2 for the armed robbery and kidnapping. The group allegedly barricaded doors, threatened victims, stole Rolex watches, jewelry, cash, and luxury goods, and coerced Gucci Mane into terminating Pooh Shiesty's 2021 record contract.
Pooh Shiesty's attorney, Bradford Cohen, has pointed to inconsistencies in the case, to be addressed in upcoming hearings.
