The British rock band The Enemy revealed plans for a headline show at the 10,000-capacity indoor arena at Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, March 20, 2027. The event commemorates 20 years since the release of their debut album 'We’ll Live And Die In These Towns' in July 2007, which topped the UK charts, sold over 300,000 copies, and featured hits like 'Had Enough', 'Away From Here', and 'You’re Not Alone'.Frontman Tom Clarke expressed enthusiasm for the gig, stating: “We’re all incredibly excited to return to Coventry Arena in March. Last time we headlined that space it was a great night, but this time with the added buzz around Coventry City FC we expect the atmosphere will be even more emotionally charged. It has all the ingredients for an unforgettable, once in lifetime event.” The band shares deep ties with Coventry, having headlined a promotion party for Coventry City’s Premier League return on May 4 after 25 years away.Formed in Coventry, The Enemy won Best New Band at the NME Awards in 2008 following the album's success. They split in 2016, reformed in 2022 with a comeback tour alongside The Subways and The Holloways, and released their fifth album 'Social Disguises' in February—their first in 11 years.Tickets for the March 2027 show become available at 10am on Friday, May 8.
