The Whitlams will return to Australian pubs in October for a nine-show East Coast tour. The run follows the end of their Orchestral ’26 dates and features support from William Crighton.
The band announced the Return to Rock Island Tour on June 20. It opens October 2 at Hotel Brunswick in Brunswick Heads and includes stops in Coffs Harbour, Melbourne, Sydney, Wombarra and Brisbane.
Two nights each are scheduled at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Brisbane’s The Triffid. William Crighton and his band will open every date.
Presale tickets go on sale June 23 at 10 a.m. local time through thewhitlams.com. The tour follows the Orchestral ’26 run, which ended June 13 after sold-out shows in several cities.
Formed in 1992, the group is known for albums such as Eternal Nightcap and Torch the Moon.
