The three-day Rockaway Beach Festival returns to Butlin's Bognor Regis from January 7 to 9, 2027, festival founder Ian Crowther announced on April 26. Headliners include The Charlatans, Sprints, The Twilight Sad and Getdown Services. The first wave of artists also features Cockney Rejects, Madra Salach, Alien Chicks, Bis, Congratulations, Cowboy Hunters, Lemonsuckr, Makeshift Art Bar, Katie Malco, Modern Woman, Mouth Ulcers, Nightbus, Pigeon, SILVERWINGKILLER and Vona Vella. BBC Radio 6 Music presenters Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins will provide DJ sets, with many more names still to be revealed. Three-day passes and accommodation are available now. Crowther praised the lineup, saying, “I’ve always believed that we bring the most vital artists together – from those legends, through to upstarts.” He highlighted the co-headline program on opening night for Getdown Services and Sprints, calling them two of the most striking live bands. Of The Twilight Sad, he noted their emotional rock music and new album ‘It’s The Long Goodbye,’ while lauding The Charlatans' recent album ‘We Are Love’ as one of their best after 40 years. Beyond music, attendees can enjoy artist Q&As, discussions, pub quizzes, arcade games, bowling, a swimming complex and spa. The Charlatans released ‘We Are Love,’ their 14th album and first in eight years, last October. Sprints issued ‘All That Is Over’ last year and single ‘Trickle Down’ in March. The Twilight Sad's sixth album ‘It’s The Long Goodbye’ came out in March. Past editions have hosted Public Image Ltd, Dry Cleaning and The Moonlandingz last year, along with Fontaines D.C., Suede and others.
