Two rape complaints and one for sexual assault on a minor were filed on June 25 and July 1, 2026, with the dean of investigating judges in Nanterre.
The plaintiffs’ lawyers, Me Corinne Herrmann, Me Benjamin Chouai and Me Sonia Kanoun, confirmed the filings on Thursday. The alleged incidents involve a rape in 2014 at a poker event, a rape and attempted rape in the 2000s, and a sexual assault in September 1992 in New York on a 15-year-old minor.
Patrick Bruel, 67, has already been under formal investigation since June in four separate sexual violence cases. An additional case from 2000 in Grenoble was dismissed on prescription grounds, but an appeal was lodged.
The singer’s counsel stated that he would respond to the accusations through the judicial process. They added that only the judicial authority could establish the facts in a case polluted by media noise.
Mimie Mathy, who collaborated with Patrick Bruel on Les Enfoirés, said she supported the defense of women and that justice should decide.
