Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference will open with a keynote on June 8 featuring CEO Tim Cook in what is expected to be his last appearance in the role.
The keynote is scheduled for 1PM ET on Monday at Apple Park in Cupertino. It marks the start of the week-long event running through June 12, with a focus on software updates and artificial intelligence features. Cook will hand over to incoming CEO John Ternus in September. Analysts note the occasion carries added weight as a symbolic transition after Cook's 15 years leading the company. Apple has promised a revamped Siri powered by new AI models, along with updates to iOS, macOS, watchOS and iPadOS. The presentation will stream live on Apple's website, its YouTube channel and Bilibili for viewers in China.
