The General Prosecutor's Office of Nuevo León confirmed the location of teenagers Héctor Gael and Abraham Alexander, both 14 years old, reported missing since February 24, 2026, in General Escobedo. The minors were found in the municipality of Los Herrera with three adults linked to a criminal group, following reports that they had been contacted via the social network TikTok. They are in apparent good health and will undergo medical evaluations.
The teenagers Héctor Gael and Abraham Alexander, secondary school students in General Escobedo, were reported missing on February 24, 2026, after being last seen in that municipality in the metropolitan area of Monterrey. According to reports from their families, the minors had been lured by an alleged member of a criminal group through TikTok, who offered them jobs in Tamaulipas with high economic remuneration.
A third teenager, Rodrigo aged 15, was located on February 27 in the municipality of China, near the border with Tamaulipas, in good health. The search for Héctor Gael and Abraham Alexander continued until March 6, 2026, when Fuerza Civil found them in Los Herrera, about 130 kilometers from Monterrey.
At the site, the officers detained three adults identified as Roberto N., 42 years old; Cecilio N., 68 years old, and Lourdes N., 19 years old, presumably linked to a criminal group with national reach. They seized more than 100 doses of presumed drugs and metal objects known as ponchallantas. The adults were turned over to the Public Ministry, while the teenagers were referred to child protection agencies for comprehensive care.
Prosecutor Javier Flores has warned about the use of social media by criminal groups to recruit children and adolescents, urging the public to take extra precautions. The Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Missing Persons activated search protocols and is now proceeding to deactivate the report once the location is confirmed.
