Ubisoft is remaking Rayman Legends in 3D as Rayman Legends Retold to mark the character's 30th anniversary. The game will launch on October 1 for multiple platforms and includes a bundle with Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition.
The remake features a fully 3D interpretation of the original 2D visuals while retaining classic side-scrolling gameplay. It adds new elements such as improved gameplay mechanics, a mysterious new realm, four new musical stages, and an expanded soundtrack by Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope. Developers Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan collaborated on the project. The title supports four-player couch co-op, returns Kung Foot mode, and includes Cave of Trials challenges with ongoing free updates. Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition comes bundled with all copies of the new game. This version offers 4K resolution, 60 frames per second, new collectibles, and haptic feedback support. Rayman Legends Retold is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
