Jeff Vahle, president of Walt Disney World, has announced his retirement after 36 years with the company. He will step down in late July following a period of significant growth and new attractions at the resort.
Vahle shared the news on LinkedIn, reflecting on his career that began as an engineer at Magic Kingdom. He described his current role as the best job ever, noting he has led the resort through remarkable expansion in partnership with cast members and the community. Vahle will remain in the position through late July, overseeing summer initiatives including Cool Kids Summer and updates to attractions like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets and Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run.
