EPCOT at Walt Disney World continues its updates for summer 2026. As detailed in prior coverage, the Soarin’ Around the World attraction will close briefly after May 13, 2026 (specifically on May 14), to transition to the temporary Soarin’ Across America overlay celebrating the U.S. 250th anniversary, reopening May 26.
Joining this patriotic update, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is set to return, with exact dates unconfirmed but expected from late August through November, mirroring recent years. Since its debut in 1995, the festival has featured marketplace booths, culinary demos, celebrity chefs, and events around World Showcase.
Additionally, Cool Kids’ Summer will run from May 26 to September 8, 2026, across Walt Disney World parks. At EPCOT, the air-conditioned CommuniCore Hall hosts GoofyCore, with Goof Troop, DJ Dance Pants, and Goofy leading games like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks—perfect family fun to beat the heat.
