A sequel to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has been confirmed under the leadership of its original creative director Xia Siyuan at a new studio. Publisher 505 Games will fund and handle global publishing for the project.
Digital Bros, the parent company of 505 Games, announced the partnership on July 29 with Indolphinity, also known as Chengdu Recursive Dolphin Technology. The new studio was founded by Xia Siyuan after he left the original developer Leenzee at the end of 2025.
The original studio later dissolved following the departures of key team members. Digital Bros had previously acquired the Wuchang intellectual property for roughly 4 million euros in April.
The sequel remains in its preparation phase with an initial investment of 21.5 million euros. Development will stay rooted in China, according to the announcement.
Siyuan stated that the team will listen to player feedback while staying true to the original creative vision to deliver a more polished experience.
